This gorgeous twine is handmade from natural hemp fibre. After collecting hemp from the local market, the artisans clean and comb the hemp, dyeing some of the hemp and leaving the rest natural. After drying in the sun the hemp then goes through the hand spinning process to make the twine balls. Each ball of twine takes up to four hours to dye and spin, not including drying time.
This twine has numerous uses around the house, use in the garden, for wrapping gifts or creative projects.
